India and Bangladesh aims for the Asian games final

Indian men’s cricket team will face Bangladesh in the first semi final of the Asian games on Friday (October 6th). The winner will goes to the final and loser will fight for the third place in the tournament.

India beat Nepal by 23 runs and Bangladesh beat Malaysia by 2 runs in Quarter final. Indian opener Yashasvi Jaiswal’s century helps India to post 202 against Nepal and restrict them to 179/9 in 20 overs.

Indian women’s team lead by Harmanpreet Kaur and co already won the the gold by beating Srilanka by 19 runs. Indian men’s team will also look to repeat the same.

Bangladesh won gold medal in 2010 and bronze in 2014 edition of Asian games. Their women’s team won back to back silver before winning bronze in 2023 edition.
