Indian women cricket team beat Bangladesh by 8 wickets enter into Asian games final. India bowled out Bangladesh for just 51 runs and chased it down in 8.2 overs with 8 wickets remaining. With this win India ensured silver medal. In the final India will face the winner of second semifinal match between Pakistan and Srilanka.

Indian pacer Pooja Vastrakar given India a perfect start by dismissing both Bangladesh openers Shathi Rani and Shamima Sultana for a golden duck. India didn’t allow any Bangladesh batters to settle down. Pooja Vastrakar (4/17 in 4 overs) done most of the damage to them.

Captain Nigar Sultana (12 runs from 17 balls) is the top scorer and five Bangladesh batters got out without scoring. Devika Vaidya (1/0 in 1 over) , Gayakwad (1/8 in 3.5 overs) , Amanjot Kaur (1/10 in 3 overs) and Titas Sadhu (1/10 in 4 overs) are the wicket takers for India.

India lost Smriti Mandhana (7 runs from 12 balls) and Shafali Verma (17 runs from 21 balls) in small chase. Jemimah Rodrigues (20* runs from 15 balls) and Kanika Ahuja (1* runs from 2 balls) helps India cross the line in 8.2 overs and enter into the final.

Fahima Khatun (1/7 in 1 over) and Marufa Akter (1/13 in 2 overs) are the wicket takers for India.

In final India will play against winner of Pakistan vs Srilanka semifinal match on Monday (September 25th).
