Team India’s opening match in Asia Cup 2023 against Pakistan called off due to rain. Elected to bat India bowled out for 266 and Pakistan innings didn’t started due to rain.
Hardik Pandya (87 runs from 90 balls) and Ishan Kishan (82 runs from 81 balls) partnership of 138 runs from 141 runs helps India to 266 after stumbled to 66/4 in 14.1 overs.
Shaheen Shah Afridi dismissed Rohit Sharma (11 runs from 22 balls) , Virat Kohli (4 runs from 7 balls) and Haris Rauf dismissed Shubman Gill (10 runs from 32 balls) and Shreyas Iyer (14 runs from 9 balls) cheaply before Hardik Pandya and Ishan Kishan rescued India.
Jasprit Bumrah who came to bat at No.10 scored 16 runs from 14 balls and Ravindra Jadeja scored 14.
