Australia keeps their hopes alive on a rain hit day

Marnus Labuschagne (111 runs from 173 balls) and Mitchel Marsh (31* runs from 107 balls) keep the Australian hopes alive. They were 214/5 at the end of second days play, still trail by 61 runs.

Start of the match was delayed due to rain. Marnus Labuschagne and Mitchel Marsh put together 103 runs for the fifth wicket when they were 108/4 at one stage. Marnus Lanuschagne hits his 11th test century in 161 deliveries. Joe Root finally dismissed him on 103.

Mitchel Marsh (31* runs from 107 balls) and Cameroon Green (3* runs from 15 balls) were at the crease when rain forced to stop the play.

Only 30 overs bowled on rain hit day 4. England need to win this test to keep their Ashes hopes alive. Currently they trail by 2-1.
