Pakistan beat Srilanka by 4 wickets in first test at Galle and goes 1-0 up in the series. Chasing 131 runs in the fourth innings Pakistan chased it down with four wickets remaining.

Captain Babar Azam and Imam ul Haq resumes the day for Pakistan from 48/3. They added another 31 more runs for the fourth wicket before Jayasuriya dismissed Babar Azam for 24.

Imam ul Haq (50* runs from 84 balls) and Saud Shakeel (30 runs from 38 balls) brought Pakistan closer by adding 43 runs for the fifth wicket. Ramesh Mendis bowled a beautiful delivery to dismiss Saud Shakeel when they were just 9 runs away from win.

P Jayasuriya dismissed Sarfaraz Khan quickly for just 1 but Agha Salman finishes the match with a six on the first ball he faced. Imam ul Haq played a beautiful knock on a tricky pitch.

P Jayasuriya (4/56 in 14.5 overs) bowled well for Srilanka defending 131. Ramesh Mendis (1/62 in 14 overs) is the other wicket taker for Srilanka.
