Indian women cricket team beat Bangladesh by 8 runs and clinch the series 2-0 with one more game to go. In a low scoring thriller team India defended 95 runs to secure the series.
Elected to bat Indian openers Smriti Mandhana (13 runs from 13 balls) and Shafali Verma (19 runs from 14 balls) scored 33 runs in 4.2 overs. But India lost Smriti Mandhana , Shafali Verma and Harmanpreet Kaur 0(1) for the same score inside the powerplay.

Bangladesh bowlers continued to pick wickets at regular intervals and restrict India to 95/8 in 20 overs. None of the Indian batters scored more than 20. Shafali Verma (19 runs from 14 balls) was the top scorer.
Sultana Khatun(3/21 in 4 overs) was the pick of the bowlers among Bangladesh. She picked Shafali Verma , Harmanpreet Kaur and Harleen Deol (6 runs from 21 balls).

Fahima Khatun (2/16 in 4 overs) , Nahida Akter (1/14 in 4 overs) , Rabeya Khan (1/16 in 4 overs) and Marufa Akter (1/28 in 4 over) are the other wicket takers for Bangladesh.
Chasing small score of 96 Bangladesh lost the way to Indian spinners. Kerala allrounder Minnu Mani given India first breakthrough in second ball of the second over by dismissing Shamima Sultana.
Deepti Sharma (3/12 in 4 overs) and Shafali Verma (3/15 in 3 overs) done most of the damage to the Bangladesh line up. Minnu Mani (2/9 in 4 overs) and Bareddy Anusha(1/20 in 4 overs) are the other wicket takers.
Bangladesh captain Nigar Sultana (38 runs from 55 balls) was the only batter reached double figure score. India bowled Bangladesh out for 87 runs in 20 overs.
