Bowlers , Zakir Hasan (54 runs from 64 balls) and Najmul Hossain Shanto (54 runs from 64 balls) helps Bangladesh took full control against Afghanistan in the first test. Bangladesh were 370 runs ahead at the end of day 2.

Resuming overnight score of 362/5 Bangladesh lost last 5 wickets for 20 runs on Day 2. Yamin Ahmadzai broke the 83 runs partnership between Mushfiqur Rahim (47 runs from 76 balls) and M.H.Miraz (48 runs from 80 balls) by dismissing M.H.Miraz.
Bangladesh then lost wickets quickly and bowled out for 382. Debutant Nijat Masood took five wickets for 79 runs and become second Afghan bowler to took 5 wicket haul on debut. Yamin Ahmadzai (2/39 in 10 overs) , Rahmat Shah (1/30 in 6 overs) , Amir Hamza (1/85 in 24 overs) and Zahir Khan (1/98 in 16 overs) are the other wicket takers for Afghanistan.

Bangladesh bowlers bowled Afghanistan out for just 146 to took the control of the match. Nasir Jamal (35 runs from 43 balls) , Afsar Zazai (36 runs from 40 balls) and Karim Janat (23 runs from 47 balls) are the only batters batted decently for them.
Ebadot Hossain (4/47 in 10 overs) , Taijul Islam (2/7 in 5 overs) , M.H.Miraz (2/15 in 9 overs) and Shoriful Islam (2/28 in 8 overs) are the wicket takers for Bangladesh.
N.H.Shanto and Zakir Hasan put together unbroken 116 runs for the second wicket in second innings so far for Bangladesh after loosing M.H.Joy for 17 early.
