Royal Challengers Bangalore beat Rajasthan Royals by huge margin of 112 runs and boost their chances to qualify for playoffs. They bowled out Rajasthan Royals for just 59 runs after setting them 172 run target. This huge win boost RCB’s net run rate.

Faf du Plessis (55 runs from 44 balls) , Glenn Maxwell (54 runs from 33 balls) and Anuj Rawat (29* runs from 11 balls) innings helps them to reach 171/5 in 20 overs.

Elected to bat first Faf du Plessis put together 50 runs for the opening wicket with Virat Kohli (18 runs from 19 balls) and 69 runs for the second wicket with Glenn Maxwell.

Anuj Rawat’s cameo helped them to finish the innings strongly after loosing Faf du Plessis , Mahipal Lomor 1(2) and Dinesh Karthik 0(2) in quick succession. Sandeep Sharma dismissed well set Glenn Maxwell in the third ball of the 18th over.

Adam Zampa (2/25 in 4 overs) , K.M.Asif (2/42 in 4 overs) and Sandeep Sharma (1/34 in 4 overs) are the wicket takers for Rajasthan Royals.

Chasing 172 run target Rajasthan lost half their side inside the powerplay for just 28 runs. W Parnell done most of the damage by dismissing J Buttler , S Samson and J Root cheaply. RCB continued to take wickets in quick succession and bowled them out for just 59.

Shimron Hetmyer (35 runs from 19 balls) is the top scorer for Rajasthan.
