Royal Challengers Banglore bounce back with their second win in IPL by beating Delhi by 23 runs. They restricted Delhi to 151/9 after setting moderate target of 175.
Virat Kohli (50 runs from 34 balls) and Faf du Plessis (22 runs from 16 balls) given a decent start to RCB by scoring 42 runs in 4.4 overs. Mitchell Marsh broke the partnership by dismissing Faf du Plessis.
Manish Pandey dropped Mahipal Lomror in the first ball he faced off Mitchell Marsh. He went on to score 26 runs from 18 balls and build a partnership of 47 runs from 33 balls for the second wicket with Virat Kohli.
Delhi Capitals took team hatrick when the score reaches 132. They dismissed Harshal Patel 6(4) , Glenn Maxwell who looks dangerous by scoring 24 runs from 14 balls and D Karthik 0(1).
Anuj Rawat 15(22) and Shahbaz Ahmed 20(12) partnership of 42 runs from 34 balls for the seventh wicket took them to 174/6.
Kuldeep Yadhav (2/23 in 4 overs) bowled beautifully and picked the key wickets of Glenn Maxwell 24(14) and Dinesh Karthik 0(1). Mitchell Marsh (2/18) , Axar Patel (1/25) and Lalit Yadhav (1/29) are the wicket takers for Delhi Capitals.
Anuj Rawat brilliance in the field get rid of Prithvi Shah 0(2) run out early in the chase. M Marsh 0(2) and Yash Dhull 1(4) also fell cheaply to W Parnell and M Siraj. Debutant Vijayakumar Vyshak dismissed D Warner 19(13 and pushed Delhi further back. At the end of the power play they were 32/4.
RCB picked wickets at regular intervals and put Delhi under pressure throughout the chase. Manish Pandey 50(38) , Axar Patel 21(14) , Aman Hakim Khan 18(10) and Anrich Nortje 23*(14) are the main scorers for Delhi Capitals.
Vijayakumar Vyshak ( 3/20 in 4 overs) and Mohammed Siraj (2/23 in 4 Overs) spell rattled Delhi. Wayne Parnell (1/28) , Harshal Patel (1/32) and Wanindu Hasaranga (1/37) are the other wicket takers for RCB.
