Virat Kohli 82*(49) and Faf du Plesis 73(43) 148 run opening wicket partnership helps RCB beat Mumbai Indians by 8 wickets in Chinnasamy. Tilak Varma’s 84(46) innings help Mumbai to score 171/7 in 20 overs. RCB chased down the total in 16.2 overs with 8 wicket remaining.

Put into bat Mumbai Indians top order struggled against RCB bowling. They lost Ishan Kishan 10(13) , Cameron Green 5(4) , Rohit Sharma 1(10) and Suryakumar Yadhav 15(16) inside the 9 overs for just 48 runs.

Tilak Varma 84*(46) , Nehal Wadhera 21(13) and Arshad Khan 15*(9) innings helps them to finish the innings strongly. Mumbai Indians scored 60 runs in last 4 overs.

Mohammed Siraj who bowled superbly in his first 3 overs given just 5 runs and picked the wicket of Ishan Kishan. However when he came to bowl his last over which is 19th over of the innings he bowled the longest over in IPL history. He given away 16 runs in that over which included 5 wide delivers resulting in 11 ball over.
