England need 119 more runs to win

Chasing 378 in the 4th innings of 5th Test England were 259 for 3 at the end of 4th day play. England need 119 more runs to win with 7 wickets in hand. Joe Root (76*) and Johnny Bairstow (72*) were at the crease. Root and Baistow added 150 runs for the 4th wicket so far.

India resume their innings from 125/3 on day 4 lost the wicket of Pujara(66) to Broad early.India lost wickets at regular intervals and bowled out for 245 in second innings. Rishabh Pant scored 57 and continue his great form in the red ball format. Jadeja scores 23 and Shreyas scores 19. Ben Stokes 4/33 helps England to bowled India out on the 4th day. Mathew Potts(2/50) , Stuart Board (2/58) , Jack Leach(1/28) and Anderson (1/46) are the other wicket takers for England.
England Openers Alex Lees(56) and Zak Crawley(46) gives England a great strart in the chase by scoring 107 runs in 21.4 overs. India then pushed England back by picking 3 wickets in a matter of just 2 runs. England came back strongly through Root and Bairstow’s unbroken 150 runs partnership for the fourth wicket. England finishes the day on 259/3. Indian Captain Jasprit Bumbrah picked two wickets and Alex Lees was runout in England innings so far.
Play will resume on Day 5 with all the three results possible but England had the upper hand at the end of Day 4.
