India beat Srilanka by 10 wickets and won the series

India women beats Srilanka women by 10 wickets in second ODI and taken unassailable 2-0 lead in the series. India bowled Srilanka out for just 173 and Indian openers Smrithi Mandhana and Shafali Varma finishes the game with their unbroken opening partnership. Renuka Singh (4/28) who bowled brillantly named Player of the Match.

After winning the toss Indian captain Harmanpreet Kaur decided to bowl first. Indian pacer Renuka Singh Thakur picked Srilankan opener Hasini Perera for zero in the first over of the match. Later she picked two more wickets and pushed Srilanka to 11/3 in 6.1 overs. Indian bowlers picked wickets at regular intervals and bowled Srilanka out for 173. Ama Kanchana (47*) , Nilakshi de Silva (32) , Chamari Athapaththu (27 ) and Anushka Sanjeevani (25) are the main scorers for Srilanaka. Renuka Singh (4/28) , Deepthi Sharma (2/30) and Meghna Singh(2/43) bowled well for India.

Chasing just 174 Indian openers Smrithi Mandhana (94*) and Shafali Varma(71*) batted brillantly and carries India home without losing a single wicket. Mandhana scored her 23rd ODI fifty and Shafali Varma her 4th.

Last and final ODI will be played on 7th July at Pallekele, 10:00am.
