Jasprit Bumbrah will lead India against England in Final Test

Jasprit Bumbrah will lead India in the final Test against which starts on July 1st. Rohit Sharma who is regular captain is yet to recover form covid ruled out from final test. Rishabh Pant will be his deputy for this match.
Bumbrah who is going to be India’s 36th Test captain and first bowler to lead India in Test after Kapil Dev. He is India’s sixth captain in the calendar year across all the formats which is highest for any calendar year. In 1959 India played under 5 captains.

Team India having huge issue in the opening slot after the unavailability of Rohit Sharma and also K L Rahul who is not available for the series due to injury. Mayank Agarwal who recently included in the squad after Rohit Tested covid positive or Cheteswar Pujara may open the innings with Shubman Gill.
