After series of loss in toss India’s new captain Hardik Pandya won the toss elected to bowl first. Bhuvneshwar Kumar dismissed Ireland captain Andy Balbirnie for 0 in the first over of the match. Ireland collapses to 3/22 in 3.5 overs. Harry Tector then played a outstanding innings for Irish by scoring 64 runs in 33 balls. For India Bhuvneshwar Kumar (1/16) and Yuzvendra Chahal (1/11) was outstanding with ball while all others economy was above 10.
Deepak Hooda and Ishan Kisan opened the batting for India. Ishan Kisan gives India off to a good start by scoring 26 off just 11 balls. India then lost Ishan Kisan and Surya Kumar Yadhav in consecutive balls to Craig Young. Hardik Pandya 24(12) and Depak Hooda added 64 runs from 32 balls for the third wicket made the Indian chase easier. Deppak Hooda remains not out on 47 off 29 balls.
